At Sea

October 14

Woke up a little after 9 to get ready for trivia at ten.  Tommy and I played but it was all trivia about the ship (What is the gross weight?  Who is the Godmother?  Who is the captain?).  We had eight correct, the winner had nine.

I then went to deck four aft to work on yesterday's blog because once again I had no luck in my cabin last night.  I was able to get most everything done before lunch.  Went to the Windjammer and had some rice with a tomato/fresh mozzarella sandwich.  Uploaded pictures while eating.

After lunch it was time to go find a seat for part 2 of the Name That Tune TV Theme edition.  Maureen, John, Barbara, Tommy, and I played.  Vickie and Matt joined us at the end. Again we had 18 out of 25.

Bought a Coke and took it back to my cabin as I got ready for the afternoon trivias and our second formal night.  The 4:00 trivia was name the TV series.  We had 26 correct out of 30 but the winners had 28.  Maureen left early to save us seats for the next trivia which was in the Schooner Bar. We only had eight out of 15.  The winners had 11.

Q3.  In which city must a movie be shown to be eligible for an Academy Award?
Q4.  How big is a golf hole?

After a quick trip downstairs we all met up to go the show "Saturday Night Fever" which was good.  Time for a quick trip to the other end of the ship for dinner.  Three of us had prime rib, Carolyn had pasta, and Tommy had lobster tail.  We all chose the Baked Alaska which was melted and not very good.  We also had 2 crime brulees which we shared.

After dinner the 70s Disco Inferno Party in the Promenade.  Everyone else went to bed (very early tour tomorrow) but I went to Liar's Club.  For those unfamiliar with this game, three people give definitions (and funny stories to go along with them) to very obscure words.  The stories were hilarious and I can't give all of them so I will just give you a list of the words.  Yes, you will have to look them up yourself!
